Questions about official Cook County criminal records usually belong with the office that created or maintains them. The contacts below separate sheriff reports and jail information from Superior Court files and statewide GCIC histories. Cook County Criminal History is private and cannot act for those offices.

This Is Not a Government Office. This privately operated reference resource cannot retrieve official records, perform an official check, correct an entry, or accept a Georgia record-restriction filing. Contact the responsible agency directly.

Need an Official Record?

Use these Cook County and Georgia custodians:

  • Court case files: see criminal court case records, or call the clerk for the court that heard the matter
  • Criminal histories: use an authorized Georgia Bureau of Investigation/GCIC route
  • Arrest, booking, and jail records: contact the Cook County Sheriff
  • Fingerprint-supported checks: begin through the Georgia Applicant Processing Service when authorized
  • Police reports and incident records: contact the agency that wrote the report
  • Record restriction and court sealing: follow the Georgia process for the arrest date and disposition

For sheriff reports, booking, custody, and warrant questions, call the Cook County Sheriff at 229-896-7471. The current sheriff site lists 3335 County Farm Road, Adel, GA 31620, while an older county directory lists 1000 County Farm Road, so confirm the location before travel. Extension 1 reaches sheriff operations during posted office hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; extension 2 reaches the jail around the clock.

For filed felony dockets, dispositions, and certified court copies, contact the Cook County Clerk of Superior Court, 212 N. Hutchinson Avenue, Adel, GA 31620, at 229-896-7717. The research did not verify detailed counter hours or copy fees; call before visiting.
